Effective date: July 22, 2026
This policy describes how the Link Cleaner mobile app ("Link Cleaner", "the app") handles information. It is short on purpose, because the app collects almost nothing.
Link Cleaner removes tracking parameters (such as ?igsh=…) from
links you share or paste, and copies the cleaned link to your clipboard. It can
also follow short links (for example bit.ly) to find the real
destination.
None. Link Cleaner does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers.
The app stores the following locally, on your phone only:
This information never leaves your device. Uninstalling Link Cleaner deletes all of it. You can also clear your history from within the app.
The app requests the INTERNET permission for one reason: when a
link you clean is a short/redirect link, the app contacts the destination server
to discover where the link finally leads. The link (and only the link) is sent
to the website it points to, exactly as any browser would. No other data is
transmitted.
Link Cleaner does not include advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs. We do not share data with any third party because we do not collect any.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to access, export, or delete on our end. Everything the app keeps lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall it.
If the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
